Single Rubella - The Vaccine

The Department of Health’s policy promotes vaccination for all children (aged 12 months plus) against Measles, Mumps and Rubella. The NHS offers the triple MMR vaccine. We offer a course of single mono-component vaccines (from 13 months old) administered at 6 week intervals, in line with the World Health Organisation’s recommendations to leave a minimum of 4 weeks between vaccinations.

We offer Rudivax (Wistar strain) manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur MSD in France. This vaccine does contain egg products.
