Side Effects of Single Chickenpox Vaccine
Reactions at the injection site are mild and transient. 5% of patients may have a slight temperature and there can be the occasional very mild chickenpox rash. There is little or no evidence to suggest this is contagious, but as a precaution it is advisable to avoid pregnant women or anyone with a compromised immune system for 6 weeks post vaccination if a rash appears.
