Vaccine safety

Years of extensive laboratory and clinical tests are undertaken during a vaccine's development.

Before a vaccine is put into general use it has to be licensed (UK or abroad). In order to be granted a licence, the manufacturers have to demonstrate its quality, safety, and efficacy in preventing the particular disease that it is intended for.

Before a vaccine can be imported the relevant regulatory authorities (MHRA) have to give their approval.

We source all our vaccines from internationally recognised manufacturers that all meet the World Health Organisations requirements.

Vaccines are refrigerated at correct temperatures throughout transit and are stored in our locked clinical refrigerators whose temperatures are carefully monitored.
