What would happen to my child if not vaccinated?

You would only be able to prevent your child catching vaccine-preventable diseases by ensuring your child does not come into contact with the viruses or bacteria.

This is impossible as many diseases are infectious before the symptoms appear.  If not vaccinated, your child will be at risk from vaccine-preventable infectious disease

If your child does catch the disease they might just have an unpleasant few days and feel unwell. However, they may suffer more serious complications as these are described in the pages for each disease for each vaccine.
